Son of Herbert and Ellen Goodes, of 19, Lance Rd., Harrow, Middx.<br />On leaving the company's service, Goodes joined the Grenadier Guards in November 1915. He had seen 18 months' active service, and only a few weeks prior to being killed was home on leave.
