Notes

Age 20, son of Charles and Laura Yorke of 86 Sturton Street, Cambridge. He joined the Great Eastern Railway in June 1911 as a signal box lad at Cambridge Station, later working as a porter at March Station. Yorke enlisted August 1915 with the Army Cyclist Corps, transferring to the Oxford and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He died from wounds he received in action.
