Notes

Different spelling of surname - spelt "Whinn" on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website, but "Winn" in the North Eastern Railway Magazine and the St Paul's Cathedral Order of Service 1919. He worked for the North Eastern Railway for just 6 weeks before he enlisted. Whinn died from wounds he received in action.
