Notes

Age 19, the son of Simeon and Anne Stageman of Gresham, Norwich. Worked for the GER as an engine cleaner for 12 months before enlisting in July 1917. Drowned at sea when his cargo shop was torpedoed 20 nautical miles off the Cornish coast by the German submarine UB-103.
