Aged 32, son of T. E. & C. A. Skinner of West Hartlepool; husband of S. Skinner of 19 Sarah Street, West Hartlepool. He worked for the North Eastern Railway for four months when he enlisted in September 1914. Skinner was killed in action. The North Eastern Railway Magazine records his age as 26, not 32 as it does on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
