Aged, 20. Son of Hugh and Annie Riding, of 27, Stalbridge Rd., Crewe, Cheshire.<br />Gunner Oswald was 20 years of age, and previous to joining the Army in November, 1915, was employed as a clerk in Mr. W. Dawson's offices (Engineering Dept), Crewe Station. He was educated at Edleston Road School, and Crewe Academy. <br />Oswald died of wounds received whilst in action in Flanders, on the 30th ult.<br />Three of his brothers also served in the Army. <br />
