Notes

Lance-Corporal B. E. Rawe, York and<br />Lancaster Regiment, entered the N.E.R. service on November 14, 1913, as general labourer in the<br />Docks Engineer's Department, Hull Docks. He was a reservist of the York and Lancaster Regiment, and was recalled to the Army on the outbreak of war and proceeded to France. In July he received leave of absence, but a few days before his leave commenced, he was killed in action, and was buried near Ypres.
