Age 22, son of John George and Amelia Laura Millman of Rose Cottage, Wigmore, nr Kingsland, Herefordshire. Native of Devonshire. Died in hospital. Joined the NER in June 1911 as a lad porter at Staithes, later served as lad platform porter at Hinderwell, lad lamplighter at Stockton, assistant signal man at Saltburn, and finally platform porter at Stockton.
