Notes

Aged 36, Lilley joined the GER in June 1913. He was a naval reservist who was called out in August 1914. He was part of the naval contingent involved at Antwerp. He went missing and was thought to be wounded in the Gallipoli landings. Since then presumed that he was killed. <br /><br />The GER Magazine gives the date that he went missing as 05/06/1915.
