Notes
Age 28, son of Joseph and Hannah Lancaster of Leeming Lane, Sinderby, Thirsk. Joined the NER in June 1907 as a lad porter at Sinderby. After service at various stations was transferred to West Hartlepool. He enlisted in March 1916 and was subsequently killed in action.
