23, son of Joseph & Hannah Donnison of 54 Beechwood Road, West Hartlepool.<br />Private W. Donnison, K.O.S.B., was killed by a piece of shell at Loos on September 26, 1915.<br />Mr. Donnison, who was 24 years of age, joined the N.E.R. service on May 13, 1912, and, prior to enlisting on September 3, 1914, was employed in the Engineer's Department at West Hartlepool as a labourer.<br />He is the son of Mr. Donnison, blacksmith in the Locomotive Department, West Hartlepool, who has<br />been in the company's employment for 40 years.
