Notes

Aged 25, son of Richard and Mary Ann Dobson of 12 Rodsley Avenue, Gateshead. He joined the North Eastern Railway in April 1908 as a telegraph learner at Newcastle Central. He then went on to be a messenger, rulley checker and then a lad number taker before he enlisted. Dobson was killed in action.
