Notes
Aged 27, son of F.W. Dobby of Leeming, Bedale; husband of Mary Jane Dobby of Bishop Burton, Beverley. He worked at Bedale, Jervaulx, Cross Gates and Cliff Common before enlisting in September 1914. Dobby served at the Dardanelles and in Egypt. He was killed in action.
