Notes

Aged 28, son of George & Agnes Chapman of 6 MacDonough Cottages, Station Rd, Harwich, Essex. He joined the GER as cook's boy on the 7th March 1907. He volunteered when the SS Vienna was taken over by Admiralty. He died from pneumonia while on active service.
