Notes

Age 36, died of wounds in the 21st Casualty Clearing Station, France. Had served with the LNWR for nine and a half years before the outbreak of war, most recently at the Castle Station, Northampton. Enlisted in September 1914 and twice saw service in France, having been sent home on sick leave several months before his death. Left a widow (Mrs E. Bramley, of 36, Herbert St., Northampton) and three children.
