Notes

Age 35, the husband of Sarah Ann Bickmore of 51 Maldon Road, Witham, Essex. Joined the GER in January 1911 as a platelayer at Chelmsford and was promoted to second man in ganag in 1912. Being a reservist he was called to the Colours at the outbreak of war. Killed in action, leaving a widow and one child.
