Notes

Age 19, son of Jane A Cousins (formerly Bayford) 6 Brougham Street, Albert Avenue, Hull and the late Arthur Bayford. Had been in NER service for just over a year. He was wounded in both legs, one of which had to be amputated. He had also been badly gassed and succumbed to his injuries in the Duke of Westminster's Hospital, France.
