Age 22, son of John and Harriett Aylott of 49 Cowley Road, Wanstead, Essex. He joined the GER at Snaresbrook in May 1910, as a parcels van lad. He also a gate-lad at Leytonstone and a lad-porter at Stratford. He had enlisted in January 1916. He was killed in action.
