Age 25, the son of H C T Amendt of 55 Queen's Ave, Muswell Hill, London. Entered GER service on 2 Jan 1911. Enlisted on 4 Aug 1914, wounded in Egypt, returned in December 1916 and was killed in a Turkish ambush. His photo shows him in the uniform of an assistant purser on one of the Orient liners.
