Notes

Isaac (noted as Isaacs in the Grantham Journal) had previously served for 12 years in the Regular Army, fighting in the South African War. At the outbreak of the First World War, Isaac re-joined the army and was stationed abroad in April 1915, after working for the Great Northern Railway. He was killed in action.
