Age 26. Entered GER service as probationary clerk in April 1906. Worked at Dunmow, Middle Drove, Magdalen Road, Peterborough and Cambridge before appointment to Burnt Mill in Sept 1913. Enlisted soon after outbreak of war. Killed in action while serving with field ambulance unit.
