Aged 35, son of Thomas Henry Hicks Adams and Catherine Adams of Buxton; husband of Mary Ellen Adams of 18 Clarence Street, Lancaster. Stated missing in the November 1914 issue of The London and North Western Railway Gazette, but corrected and reported as a casualty in the December 1914 issue of the same newspaper.
